CANCER: Emperor of All Maladies is a six hour documentary based on the book Emperor of All Maladies, directed by Barak Goodman, Executive Producer PBS and Ken Burns. Art direction, design and animation of historical science, recreation stories, film titles and the current edge of genetic discoveries. Molly Schwartz Studio delivered dozens of shots, all animated in a distinct visual language designed just for this project, combining science, history, drawing, goo and millions of particles too.

WATCHERS OF THE SKY is the latest documentary by award-winning filmmaker Edet Belzberg. In her characteristic cinéma vérité style, Belzberg interweaves the stories of four exceptional humanitarians whose lives and work are linked together by the ongoing crisis in Darfur. Through the stories of these contemporary characters, the film uncovers the forgotten history of the Genocide Convention and its founder Raphael Lemkin, the legendary international lawyer who dedicated his life to the prevention of genocide. Inspired by Samantha Power's Pulitzer Prize winning book "A Problem From Hell", WATCHERS OF THE SKY offers real examples of how the cycle of violence can be broken and future mass atrocities prevented.

Free City at Guggenheim NY is an animation projected into an architectural model. I was brought on by SuperUber, to develop the design and animation while they designed and fabricated the structure and technology. A conceptual prototype for cities of the future, Free City (designed by the architects Fernando Romero Enterprises) is a projection-mapped model with animations and sound that create an audio-visual narrative. The piece is a response to 21st century urban challenges such as population growth, sprawl and mobility. The installation was the centerpiece at the FR-EE “You Are The Context” book launch at the Guggenheim Museum, in NYC.

A series of animating title sequences made for the 2011 ITP Big Screens Show at the IAC Building. The titles were projected onto the 120 X 12-foot video wall at their corporate headquarters on 18th St. and the West Side Highway. The animated titles were programmed using OpenFrameworks in collaboration with the very talented Rune Madsen.
